  so continuing my review of the current bull shit my family in this cult are subjected to i found this article about professor rajesh kalaria, a jw since 1973 and a scientist who has studied the human brain for 40 years (hmm... so he converted into this cult very early in his career it seems).anyway i also found this jw broadcasting piece about him where he says:.

  Verifiable proof of Jesus' existance outside the Bible

  thought i'd start a separate discussion on the subject.. those who know me know i'm struggling with faith; i want to believe, some days i do but it becomes difficult.. many believers say there is verifiable proof of jesus' existence outside of the bible.. please post this proof..

  There may not be a great deal of direct "proof" in the way of experiential documentation from that era but, for myself, there is an enormous quantity of other proof. The more I learn and discover about our incredible Planet and the complexity of all of its systems; the astounding beauty and complexity of life itself, there is no doubt. Then when looking into the sky and pondeiring what we've learned about this awesome superuniverse, what more can one say?

  The design of this material dimension is stupendous. Who knows how much more there is to delight our curiosity?

  The style of "speech" which characterizes Cult Programming Language is quite different from the way "normal" clear-thinking people speak. Listen carefully to how "thoughts" in the talks are phrased paying attention to the "fear inspiring words." Observe carefully how the literature thoughts are phrased to maximize fear and obedience to Organization Edict. Neural Linguistic Programming can be very powerful in a negative way when peculiarly phrased "cues" are repeated several times each week. Repetition is a key element of Mind Control Techniques coupled with "activity overload" which induces a mind state akin to sleep deprivation or hypnotic trance.   Gosh, I guess something didn't turn out as intended with the link. It was to Apostate Chick's youtube video page with all of her videos. Hmmm, apparently youtube hyperlinks are automagically interpreted as videos even when they're not.

  My awakening and concern

  as many former ex-witnesses, i "woke up" from believing that the jw org is the "truth".

  this happened during this month thanks to information from jw-facts and youtube videos about ex-witnesses' experience in this org.

  Did Jesus pre exist? Yes or no?

  when i first became a witness, i always found the teaching about jesus being the arch angel michael hard to swallow.

  i did however believe that jesus pre existed as a master worker alongside god (the first of his creation).. but now everything is brought into question having watched anthony buzzard explain why jesus could not have pre existed as it is impossible to pre exist yourself.

  also the fact that it all sounds contradictory to suggest, he was already alive millions of years before he was transferred to mary's womb to be born as a human - the son of man?.

  One day in the future we shall all know for a certainty. Before he took the temporary "demotion" to human status in order to learn obedience and to show us "The Way" I do believe he was the "firstborn son." We haven't any idea what that truly means yet; such as how did his original birth take place; was he created in a manner similar to Adam? I dunno. But, one day we shall know for sure...

  why jw's commit suicide?

  we all know the rate of suicide is high among jw's.

  my question is this- was there some subliminal messages that encourage this.

  i was a born in and my entire life i would have these thoughts that could come out of nowhere,"kill yourself.

  The WTBorg Inc. program of Cult Mind Control does include carefully designed mentally implanted "cues" to produce feelings of very deep depression, even to the extent of self-destruction, should those who are vulnerable think or act out desires to depart from the Borg. This technique is well developed in government sponsored mind control programs such as MK Ultra and Monarch. The intent is to effectively silence any "apostates" who would dare leave the controlled group.

  The implanted fear based "cues" are activated by doubting thoughts and are capable of inducing a severely impaired reasoning ability such that death seems a natural course of action.

  It is truly sick in its effectiveness. So much so that "normal" thinking people simply cannot comprehend.
